An offshoot of the race known as Tirn, Drem have considerably more physical strength and are far larger but their major advantage is their strong sense of community which ultimately allowed them to make the improvements to their lifestyle and diet which allowed their physical change.
Physical Description: While far taller than their Tirn cousins, Drem only stand approximately four and half feet. Their overall appearance is that like a shorter human.
Society: Drem form close knit communities that live in clusters in caves and will create small villages on the surface as well. These communities are often lead by a village elder. The communities get their food by farm edible mushrooms in the caves and tending berries and other plants in fields within the village walls as well as ones in the surrounding forest.
Relations: Drem rarely encounter other races though several halfling caravans stop by their villages and will bring supplies and other goods from elsewhere.
Alignment and Religion: Drem's communal lifestyle lends easily to lawful and good alignemnts but many chaotic alignments are common. Evil aligned Drem are nearly unheard of.
Adventurers: Drem rarely become adventurers though some brave few will leave their communities and attempt to seek their fortune in found families often still traveling with one or more of others from their original community.
+2 Strength, -2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence: Drem are strong and smart but not as physically hardy relying on strength in numbers for safety.
Medium: Drem are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Drem have a base speed of 30 feet.
Darkvision: Drem can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
Cave Dweller: Drem gain a +1 bonus on Knowledge (dungeoneering) and Survival checks made underground.
Bonded Mind: Drem receive Bonded Mind as a bonus feat at 1st level.
Urbanite: Drem gain a +2 racial bonus on Diplomacy checks made to gather information and Sense Motive checks made to get a hunch about a social situation.
Swarming: Drem are used to living and fighting communally with other members of their race. Up to two Drem can share the same square at the same time. If two Drem that are occupying the same square attack the same foe, they are considered to be flanking that foe as if they were in two opposite squares.
Languages: Drem begin play speaking their racial language Tirn. Drem with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following languages: Common, Gnome, Halfling, and Terran.
